Schedule
- Day 1
Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, meet your representative and begin your discovery of Georgia’s capital.
Explore the Old Town, where narrow streets, carved wooden balconies, and quiet courtyards reveal the city’s distinctive character. Stop in the Metekhi Church area for views over the Mtkvari River, then stroll through Abanotubani, the historic sulphur bath district known for its brick domes.
Cross the Bridge of Peace and continue to Rike Park. Board the cable car to the Narikala area and enjoy panoramic views of the river, colourful rooftops, and surrounding hills. At the top, take in the cityscape and walk towards the Mother of Georgia monument.
After the tour, transfer to your hotel, check in, and enjoy the evening at leisure.
The sightseeing programme will be adapted to your arrival time. Cable car operation is subject to weather conditions and maintenance. Standard hotel check-in times apply; early check-in is available on request, subject to availability and an additional charge.
- Day 2
After breakfast, depart for Kakheti, Georgia’s celebrated wine region, where vineyards and traditional villages shape the countryside.
Visit Bodbe Monastery, closely associated with Saint Nino, and enjoy its peaceful grounds and views across the Alazani Valley.
Continue to Sighnaghi, a picturesque hilltop town known for its defensive walls, cobbled streets, and traditional balconies. Wander through its charming lanes and pause at scenic viewpoints overlooking the valley.
Experience Kakhetian hospitality with a wine tasting at a local winery or family wine cellar. Sample a selection of Georgian wines as your host introduces the region’s grape varieties and winemaking traditions.
Discover another side of local life during a traditional Georgian bread-making masterclass. With guidance from your host, learn how bread is shaped and baked in a tone, a traditional clay oven, before tasting the freshly baked bread.
Return to Tbilisi in the evening.
- Day 3
After breakfast, visit the Chronicles of Georgia, a monumental ensemble overlooking the Tbilisi Sea. Admire its towering sculpted columns depicting scenes from Georgian history and Christianity, and take time to enjoy the surrounding views.
Continue to Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital and one of the country’s most important spiritual centres.
Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, then stroll through the surrounding streets, lined with small shops selling local crafts, traditional sweets, and souvenirs. Enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant, at your own expense.
Continue to Jvari Monastery, perched on a hill above the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. From here, admire one of Georgia’s most recognisable panoramas, with Mtskheta and the surrounding valley spread out below.
Return to Tbilisi and enjoy your final evening at leisure.
- Day 4
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, depending on your flight schedule.
After check-out, meet your driver for a private transfer to Tbilisi International Airport.
Depart with memories of Georgia’s historic towns, wine traditions, and warm hospitality.
