Schedule
We’ll begin at Uplistsikhe, an ancient town carved into the rock above the Mtkvari River. Explore its passageways, chambers and open spaces, discovering traces of the people who once lived here while enjoying views across the surrounding countryside.
Next, we’ll visit the Stalin Museum in his hometown of Gori. Explore its exhibitions and personal artifacts, reflecting on Stalin’s life and the complex, often tragic history of the Soviet period.
We’ll continue to Gori Fortress, a historic citadel rising above the city. Walk up to the fortress and enjoy panoramic views over Gori and the surrounding landscape. This is a memorable setting for photographs.
