- Day 2
After breakfast, begin your guided discovery of Baku, where historic stone streets meet striking contemporary architecture.
Explore Icherisheher, the Old City, walking through narrow lanes, intimate courtyards, and traditional neighbourhoods. Visit the Shirvanshahs’ Palace and admire the Maiden Tower from outside while discovering the stories associated with this landmark.
Pause for traditional Azerbaijani tea before continuing to Highland Park for panoramic views over Baku Bay and the Flame Towers.
Enjoy a walk along Baku Boulevard, then stop outside the Heydar Aliyev Center to admire its flowing architecture and landscaped surroundings.

- Day 3
After breakfast, depart for Gobustan to discover ancient rock carvings that offer a glimpse into the lives, rituals, and wildlife of earlier communities.
Continue to the mud volcanoes, where bubbling pools and sculpted earth create an unusual landscape. Access is subject to weather and local road conditions, with a suitable local vehicle used where required.
After a lunch break, travel to the Absheron Peninsula. Visit Ateshgah Fire Temple to explore the region’s connections with fire worship and historic trading communities.
Continue to Yanar Dag, where natural gas feeds flames along a hillside, before returning to Baku.
- Day 4
After an early breakfast and check-out, leave Baku and travel towards the foothills of the Greater Caucasus.
Stop in Shamakhi to visit the Juma Mosque before continuing to Sheki. Along the way, the scenery gradually changes from open plains to greener hills and small countryside settlements.
Upon arrival, visit Sheki Khan’s Palace, admired for its colourful decoration and intricate shebeke stained-glass windows.

Check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening.
- Day 5
After an early breakfast and check-out, depart for the Azerbaijan-Georgia border at Mazim gara-Lagodekhi.
Your Azerbaijani team will bring you to the checkpoint. Complete the border formalities and meet your Georgian team on the other side to continue your journey with a separate vehicle.

Visit a local winery for an introduction to Georgian winemaking and a tasting of regional wines.
Continue to Tbilisi and check in to your hotel.
This is a full travel day. The timing and order of the Kakheti visits may be adjusted according to border processing.
- Day 6
After breakfast, travel to Jvari Monastery, set above the meeting point of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers.
Continue to Mtskheta, Georgia’s historic former capital. Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and enjoy a walk through the surrounding streets, where small shops offer local crafts and traditional sweets.
Return to Tbilisi for a guided discovery of the Old Town. Begin around Metekhi, overlooking the river and the historic neighbourhoods below.
Explore Abanotubani, known for its distinctive sulphur bath domes, and wander through lanes lined with carved wooden balconies and colourful façades.
Continue to Rike Park and cross the Bridge of Peace. A cable car ride towards the Mother of Georgia viewpoint can be arranged as an optional addition, subject to operation and available time.

After an early breakfast, follow the Georgian Military Highway into the Caucasus Mountains.
Stop beside Zhinvali Reservoir before visiting Ananuri Fortress, overlooking the water. Continue through the mountain scenery towards Gudauri, with a stop at the Friendship Monument viewpoint when conditions allow.

Enjoy time for lunch at a local restaurant, with the option to try traditional khinkali, before returning to Tbilisi.
This is a long excursion day. Mountain-road access and the Gergeti visit depend on weather and road conditions.
