Upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, meet your representative and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in Baku.
After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy your first impressions of the capital. Depending on your arrival time, take an independent evening walk or let us arrange an optional welcome dinner featuring Azerbaijani cuisine.
- Day 2
After breakfast, begin your private discovery of Baku.
Step inside Icherisheher, the historic walled city, where narrow lanes lead past stone houses, small galleries, and traditional shops. Visit the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, then continue to the Maiden Tower for an exterior visit and an introduction to one of Baku’s most recognisable landmarks.
Pause for a traditional Azerbaijani tea experience, served with local sweets. Take a moment to sit, enjoy your surroundings, and discover the country’s welcoming tea traditions.
Continue through Fountains Square and Nizami Street before travelling to the Heydar Aliyev Center to admire its flowing architecture and enjoy an exterior photo stop.
Later, visit Highland Park for panoramic views across Baku Bay and a closer view of the Flame Towers. Finish with a leisurely walk along Baku Boulevard, where the city opens towards the Caspian Sea.
Included signature experience: Traditional Azerbaijani tea with local sweets.
- Day 3
After breakfast, depart for a full day exploring Azerbaijan’s ancient landscapes and fire heritage.
Begin at Gobustan Rock Art Reserve, where prehistoric carvings offer glimpses of life, movement, and traditions from thousands of years ago. Explore the museum and follow the walking route among the engraved rocks.
Continue to the Mud Volcanoes Tourism Complex to discover a landscape of bubbling mud formations and bare, sculpted terrain.
Enjoy a lunch break at your own expense before travelling to the Absheron Peninsula.
Visit Ateshgah Fire Temple and discover its connections to merchants, pilgrims, and religious traditions associated with fire. Continue to Yanar Dag, where natural gas feeds flames along the hillside.
Return to Baku in the evening.
Please note: This is the longest sightseeing day of the journey, lasting approximately 9-10 hours, including driving and stops. The order of visits may be adjusted according to local conditions.
- Day 4
After breakfast, leave the city behind and travel towards Shamakhi, where the scenery changes to open countryside and rolling hills.
Visit Shamakhi Juma Mosque, an important landmark of the region’s religious and architectural heritage, before continuing to Meysari Winery.
Enjoy a hosted winery visit and discover another side of Azerbaijan through its winemaking traditions. Learn about the production process and taste a selection of wines in a countryside setting.
A leisurely set-menu lunch at the winery restaurant completes the experience, allowing time to enjoy regional flavours before returning to Baku.
The evening is free for shopping, a waterfront stroll, or an optional farewell dinner.
Included signature experience: Winery visit, wine tasting, and a set-menu countryside lunch.
