Spend a day discovering Kakheti, a region known for its vineyards, historic monasteries and charming towns. Along the way, you’ll experience local traditions, taste Georgian specialties and enjoy beautiful views of the Alazani Valley.

Schedule

After breakfast at your hotel, depart Tbilisi for Badiauri (approximately 45 minutes).
Try freshly baked Georgian bread, prepared in a traditional oven, with homemade cheese. Take part in a bread baking masterclass.
Visit Bodbe Monastery, an important spiritual site associated with Saint Nino, one of Georgia’s most revered figures. The visit time will be confirmed when planning your journey.
Stroll through the charming streets, admire the historic architecture and defensive walls, visit the main square and enjoy panoramic views of the Alazani Valley.
Sample a selection of local wines and discover the traditions and stories behind Georgian winemaking. This scheduled tasting is complimentary; additional winery visits are optional.
Drive back to Tbilisi (approximately 1.5 hours).
