- Day 2
After breakfast, begin your guided discovery of Baku, where sandstone lanes and historic mansions share the city with bold modern architecture.
Explore Icherisheher, Baku’s walled Old City. Walk through narrow streets, discover quiet courtyards and traditional caravanserais, and admire the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs from the outside. Your guide will introduce the stories behind these landmarks and the city’s trading heritage.
Continue to Highland Park for panoramic views over Baku Bay and the city skyline, with the Flame Towers rising nearby.
Later, stroll along Baku Boulevard, enjoying the waterfront atmosphere, before exploring Fountains Square and Nizami Street, known for their elegant façades, cafés, and lively urban character.
Complete the day with a photo stop outside the Heydar Aliyev Center, whose flowing architecture offers a striking contrast to the historic streets visited earlier.
A lunch stop can be arranged during the tour, with meals payable separately.
- Day 3
After breakfast, depart for a full-day journey through the ancient heritage and unusual landscapes surrounding Baku.
Begin at Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve, where rock carvings offer glimpses of life thousands of years ago. Explore the rock-art area with your guide and discover scenes of people, animals, and daily activities carved into the stone.
Continue to the Mud Volcanoes Tourism Complex to observe bubbling mud formations in a stark, open landscape.
Following a lunch break, travel to the Absheron Peninsula and visit Ateshgah Fire Temple. Explore its courtyard and learn about the merchants, pilgrims, and religious traditions associated with this historic site.
Your final stop is Yanar Dag, where natural gas feeds flames along the hillside. This is a memorable introduction to Azerbaijan’s connection with fire.
Return to your hotel after a full day of discovery.
